A vision taking root

Nursery · people · places

A brighter tomorrow, grown together

A South African nursery, community planting initiative and digital tree registry in development.

The Green Horizon vision

A connected path from nursery to tree registry.

Growing, distribution, community planting and digital records are planned as parts of one connected system, with a tree’s life continuing beyond the nursery.

01 / Nursery & propagation

Grown with the destination in mind.

The planned range focuses on primarily non-thorny indigenous trees and suitable fruit trees. Traceable mother stock and species-appropriate propagation are part of the plan.

Working growing plan

50–250 L containers · 12–24 month target

02 / People & places

Greener places, shared benefits.

The proposal includes indigenous shade trees, school orchards and suitable fruit-tree programmes, with local custodians and ongoing care in view.

03 / Digital tree registry

Every tree has a story.

Software in development is intended to connect provenance, nursery production, planting location, ownership and survival records. Field acceptance and privacy testing remain ahead.

Responsible growth, step by step.

The proposed Bloemfontein base and 2027–2031 rollout depend on funding, land acquisition, lawful water supply, approvals and proven demand. These remain plans, not operating services.
